2011 - 2012 EUS Officers
President: Emily Cowperthwaite
4th year Chemical Engineering

Emily has grown over the summer! No not height wise but her position has grown. She was elected as the new president after pinching pennies as the VP Finance last year and is looking forward to the challenge. She plans to command the EUS with an iron fist, almost like a modern day Napoleon, although with more Pillar Pubs for the commoners. Rumors persist that in Germany this summer she trained with another vertically challenged leader; the great Jedi Master Yoda is said to have taught her the ways of the force so that she may use them in times of dire need. Only time will tell if she has to use them.
VP External: Colin Bradley
4th year Chemical Engineering

After his success as Sales Director last year, Colin decided to take on a bigger challenge: selling the EUS brand to the general public. In order to do the best job he possibly could, Colin turned to what he does best: being a circus clown. For meetings with the biggest partners he dons his bright red nose, curly red wig, white face paint and size 20 clown shoes and makes them laugh until they cry with his juggling tricks, magic tricks and overall silly antics. Although he may have a silly exterior, insult his hometown of Fredericton and he will utterly destroy you. He is not to be messed with.
VP Events: Graham McIntyre
3rd year Electrical Engineering

Graham comes to the EUS from the foreign land of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Having never been involved with the EUS before, he may have been jumping in over his head. Luckily for him and the rest of the engineers he dove in head first and came up swimming with dolphins. It’s imperative that he keeps swimming strongly since we depend on him to run all the great events we put on. It is a good thing he is a strong swimmer then, since he was born to a family of dolphins. No one is sure how it happened, but one day he was found frolicking in the seas with the friendly creatures and was brought to civilization. Ever since then his life has been committed to bringing us the best events possible.
VP Communications: Colin Mackenzie
4th year Civil Engineering
From the glaciatic white valleys of Iceland to the contrasting volcanic mountainous peaks hails our own VP of communications, Colin Mackenzie. Although his heritage is lost within his namesake, his roots can be verified by his snow white appearance, where tanning involves the appearance of thousands of of brown freckles, and by his strawberry blonde hair, which he keeps short at all times to ensure that no one ever receives the the lethal wrath that would ensue should someone within ear shot ever refer to him as a ginger. Colin is passionate about life, dedicated and fun; But whatever you do do not ever question his athletic abilities. No matter what sport you challenge him to he will shut you down faster than the ash from the eruption of mount Eyjafjallajökull shut down air travel in Europe.
VP Internal: Nancy Ward
3rd year Chemical Engineering

Every day Nancy makes the long hard trek to Head Hall from far off land of Joy Kidd. Along the way she thinks of all the wonderful tasks that she will accomplish during the day, usually encompassing things like dishing out hours for people to work in the EUS office, or keeping all meetings on track. When thinking these happy thoughts it is said that an aura forms around her body in all the colors of the rainbow. In addition many birds and small mammals follow in her footsteps, singing joyous harmonies that brighten the whole campus. If you are lucky enough to witness this miracle, it is said you will live for ten lifetimes.
VP Finance: Christine Boutot
3rd year Chemical Engineering

You wouldn’t think that people of Saturn would know much about money, but wow did those aliens ever teach Christine how to handle cash. She can whip up a cash flow diagram in about 3.2 seconds that includes 4 million inputs and a billion outputs. There is a rumor going around that she is actually a robot but if she’s a robot she must be using a very long extension cord. Every once in a while she disappears for a month or two to an unknown location, but inside sources inform us that she returns home to visit her family and “recharge her batteries”. Now that explains the lack of an extension cord.
